Tools of the Trade I.. Giving Kids a Lifetime Guarantee! An Afterschool Professional Development Train-The-Trainer Workshops

The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program is pleased to announce they have received funding from MetLife and National 4-H Council to provide training to 550 afterschool staff on communication, management, guidance and discipline, age appropriate practice and civic engagement.  They will be providing seven hours of training using the Tools of the Trade I – Giving Kids a Lifetime Guarantee! trainer manual.

The training is complimentary; however, the expectation is that those receiving the training will train an additional 10 afterschool staff with the training content.  Each attendee will receive the comprehensive training manual that includes over 15 hours of staff development modules designed especially for afterschool settings. Each line-staff, or those who cannot commit to the training expectation, the cost of the training is $10 and the CD can be purchased for $40 if desired.

Registration for each session should be completed at least two weeks prior to the training date. They expect the trainings to fill quickly, so encourage you to register as soon as possible.
